I stumbled across this book on tiktok and since it was so highly praised, I decided to give it a try! While I enjoyed the book for what it was, I didn’t find is as disturbing as it could have been. The demon that’s haunting the place doesn’t come off very terrifying which is what I expected when it finally showed itself. I suppose the author could have made it this way for some comedic relief as the book took a gruesome turn towards the end, but I personally wanted to be spooked and I simply wasn’t. Overall though I love the concept of the book and can say that its certainly a unique haunted house book! If you’re into that and have a kindle unlimited subscription, then you may want to check this one out!

Terrifying and I loved it so much! This had all of the horror type of stuff I loved in movies. The haunted house that belonged to an exorcist! The terrifying demon that loves to taunt the humans. The loyal dog Buck! What a wild ride!
