This prequel fills in a lot of the gaps left in the first book. We get to see things play out that we had only previously heard about. The characters seemed so different, too. It was a new perspective. I especially enjoyed meeting Marissa, who I really liked and related to.

I liked getting to know more about their story through Mason but god damn I wanted to hear more of his side after the gas station encounter and that’s where it stopped.

loved getting Masons POV... I love when authors let you dig deep in another persons POV. You sit there and wonder and this was such a good read. Now I want to restart Fallen Crest all over again, Gosh I cant wait until the final book!!!

OMG!! I would seriouly consider NOT getting on the wrong side of that boy! Just loved this novella that Tijan has gifted us with - it was awesome to see things from Mason's POV! He is just such a little deviant! Really adored his attitude and love and loyalty to his brother, Logan. It was great to read this after the other Fallen Crest books, as it showed in depth some of the circumstances that the other books just hinted at! Really looking forward to Fallen Fouth Down!
Hope we don't have too long to wait Ms. Tijan!!

This book ended on a mediocre level. I was happy with the characters and where they ended in the book but I think the ending was flat compared to what it could have been. There was so much potential and I feel like some elements were left unexplained or not developed to what they could have been.

I had no intention to reread Fallen Crest High, but I somehow was in the mood for it and ended up binging it and Mason in a day!

Reading Mason's POV from past experiences only told in the Fallen Crest series was great!
I wouldn't recommend reading this one before having read at least the first two books of the series, as it spoils things that get revealed in the story.

This is for everyone who has read the books and wants bonus content.
