MY REVIEW
The cover shows Morgan in a pink dress (of course as she is totally so into pink!) with her compact mirror and lipstick also pink, with her gorgeous blonde hair tumbling down her back.Quite a picture of innocence being painted? Well if that's what you think you are totally wrong because Morgan is a Demon!
Not just any demon either she's the blonde (the only blonde demon) from an ancient prophecy. The prophecy actually states that the blonde demon would be the best ever assassin.
The book is kind of a humorous, chick lit in genre. I would say it is aimed at the YA market which it is perfect for.
The book has mystery, suspense, boy trouble and a dash of demon magic...oh and two hot guys, one is called Derek and due to an ancient pact is promised in marriage to a rather snobby girl, the other hot guy just happens to be the devil himself!
So Morgan needs to find out who the traitor is and assassinate them, as well as getting a date for the Brimstone Ball as well as dealing with the devil as her boss!
So did I enjoy the book? Yes. Would I read more in this series? If there are more sure. Would I read more of Patrice Lyle's books? Yes, Patrice has a really great easy flowing writing style. Would i recommend? Yes from young teens upwards.
