what a fun read! i enjoyed the twists and turns of the events and characters in this book. i’m glad near the end i finally got to read a séance with ghosts hehe, i would recommend this to anyone who wants a little bit of a spooky vibe, ghosts, murder, sisterhood, and a twinge of romance! but i will say j enjoyed the author’s other book “the Amalfi curse” a tad more! also i wonder why the author wrote lenna’s pov in third person and mr morley’s pov in first person
This story was interesting and felt Bridgerton-esque in setting, but with occult hints and ghosts. The reveal of who killed her sister was a good twist. Highly recommend if you like a bit of mystery and hints of a lesbian love story.

I listened to the audiobook. After reading the description, I could not wait to listen and I bought the book. The pace of the book was incredibly slow, and the characters were lacking. I kept waiting for something to happen and when it did… it was predictable. I finished the book and could not tell you what this book was about.
