The art is just phenomenal and the colour scheme is so pleasing. It was so much easier to distinguish the characters because Smythe dedicated a colour to each one and the blend of pink from Persephone and blue for Hades is just beautiful.
I love the contemporary reimagining of Olympus and how the gods interact with modern-age technology and lifestyles; it was a lot of fun.
I really connected with Hades and I wish we saw more of Persephone's and Hade's interactions because they are so cute together and can't wait to read volume two.
The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is that sometimes Persephone got a bit annoying. I find small, sweet people sickly and Persephone wasn't any exception. I also found the body types of every godess quite unrealistic. Whilst yes, their immortal and gods but it's a bit discouraging to think that they all have an hourglass figure. But that's just me; I still loved it.
