This was just a very unnecessary 200 pages. I knew a lot of this from googling Gramsci for an hour or two and this book just didn't feel all that worth it for the little information it has. I think what I learnt from this is that it would have been far more worth my while to read 200 pages of Gramsci than to read 200 pages about him, because his quotes in this were the only things I really found interesting.

For a book about Gramsci I'd much rather an interesting application of his work or a breakdown of different ways different writers have applied his work.
