Eh. This is why I shy away from modern romance books. This story WAS amusing. I literally laughed out loud in some parts, and the story was sort of sweet. On the other hand, there was just too much gushing about his beautiful, perfect body and his horny serial killer eyes (which should be scary, not a turn on). And all the begging!? Since when is a woman so desperately asking a guy to sleep with her while he sits coolly in the opposite chair and tells her he wants to wait? Lucy was a little desperate and stalkerish in some parts and Josh was a little too jealous and psycho in other parts. I get it. What woman doesn't fantasize at some time about a big muscly jerk who actually turns out to be a shy, soft-spoken god who loves you hopelessly? Just a little too much for me. That said, the writing was pretty good, much better than some others I have perused, and the story was original.

Your classic enemies to lovers with both characters secretly into eachother! This was a cute fluffy romance with humor and strong character development I believe. I’m a sucker for playful banter with happy endings!
