there are some rightful issues with the characters in this book and sometimes the plot, but overall it does the enemies to lovers plotline justice. lucy can be a little off-putting and childlike but i'm choosing to ignore those orange flags for the sake of my entertainment.
overall, a fun, spicy read for a subscriber to the enemies to lovers trope, but not a perfect book by any means

Quintessential fun, guilty pleasure, chick lit. It’s predictable, completely cliche and at times goofy but I so enjoyed it after reading a few heavy reads. Take it for what it is - if you look at it too seriously you are overthinking this steamy fluff.
It's an easy, fun read but not quite what they have made this book out to be. I was hoping it would get better eventually but I just never got that big wow moment that made me love the characters. The story was way too predictable, wasn't able to understand why this is being turned into a movie, will have to judge once the movie is out.

yeah, the book is somehow written a little bit idealistic and you can see the millennial vibe.
there are a lot of things that are like: “wtf is thisss?”
but you know if you are bored and wanna get out of a reading slump, you should try it reading it.

Super quick and easy read. Flowed well, and had lots of cute aspects.
Great for a beach read or weekend read. Didn’t require to much thought having to try to follow along which I liked for an easy read.
Read between classes for my Masters program so I wanted something just smooth and light to read.
