Decent for what it's intended for, which was to hook a young audience into a classic work. In this particular instance, I'm not sure it really translates for our modern young audience as a 'hook' as the simplified version skips some of the more thought provoking details. The illustration is fun and a good introduction to an older style for my boys.

Quite enjoyed this audio adaptation of War of the Worlds. Good voice actors. Will have to read the book at some point, as this I believe, missed quite a bit of detail
