Omg!!! Jase was aweeesome in this book! I loved how he handled things and he still remained himself. He was still funny, arrogant and always had a sexual comment about everything. But in the same time he was mature, he knew what he wanted and he was there for Mila. I loved this book! Totally a book that deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars!

This was a case of "its not you it's me". I'm not much of a friends to lovers fan, I think I've read enough of that trope to last me a lifetime but this was cute. Heard excels at writing book boyfriends and Jase was perfect but his cluelessness at the beginning was was irritating and immature. Ultimately this was cute but not really for me

Although each book is a standalone every book pulls you in deeper to The Heirs world and it feeds my addiction to The Heirs world.

From reading Coldhearted Heir, I knew that Mila and Jase had chemistry but it was much more intense than I imagined.

Mila was a bit of sweet with a heavy dose of sass and incredible strength. Jase was the assumed playboy, an arrogant heir with a trail of women behind him and yet, he comes to a startling realization that he and Mila have an electric vibe between them that can’t be ignored.

Mila and Jase put my heart through the wringer. The weight of their pain laid heavy on my chest and in the moments, they broke, I broke right along with them. The way Jase felt about Mila was so clear in the sincerity of his actions on every page. He was protective and possessive with all sorts of growls which made this Arrogant Heir a delicious, Alpha Heir.

Arrogant Heir consumed me from the first page to the last. A captivating blend of soul searing chemistry, slow burn, raw emotion, witty banter, sassy heroine, alpha hero, and a group of fiercely loyal friends that are always ready to lend a shoulder to cry on or throw a punch.

Michelle continues her Heirs series with a strong 2nd book, but would you expect anything less from the author who brought us their parents in the Trinity Academy Series!

Jase is a total Alpha bad boy who enjoys the love them and leaves them philosophy. He has stepped into a leadership role amongst all the heir kids and will be stepping into the family business soon. He has always connected to Mila, but suddenly she is not the girl he has always seen. She has turned into a beautiful woman, and this man does not know how to handle it.

Mila has always loved Jase and even worked up the nerve to attempt to tell him once. However, once a playboy, always a playboy, right?????? After a tragedy hits the group, they must all learn how to navigate around each other, especially Jase and Mila. The push and pull between Jase and Mila left me a little heartbroken and a lot intrigued. Together they figure out a way to move forward and heal together.

Heard writes her stories from the heart and leaves it all on the pages with each book she writes. I love when authors write a next-generation series as they tend to write deeper into the characters since the readers have become truly invested in these characters. I can only imagine where she is going to take the rest of this series, and I am excited to see what comes next!

Love vs friendship

Jase is just an arrogant playboy that can't see what is right in front of his face. Mia has been hiding her love for Jase for over 3 years. When Jase starts to have feelings for Mia, he pushes them down. Both of them tell themselves they are doing it to save their friendship. Then a catalyst (Mia's attack) forces fate to take over and they could no longer ignore their feelings for each other.

Could definitely be a trigger for someone who has went through sexual abuse and/or attack.

If you love angst, and unrequitted love, this book is for you. This book is fabulous, with just the right amount of angst, and drama to keep the story going. It's not over the top, it's not contrived. The plot flows nicely, and the characters all have chemistry. The world is set in the same world as the authors "Heirs" series, these are their chilldren. No you don't need to have read those to read this book at all. This next generation have it even better, and also have it worse, if that makes sense.
Set in the world of Trinity Academy which is a college for the uber rich. All the characters are interconected, such, as cousins, and or siblings. The by play between Mila and Jase is off the charts hot, but there is so much angst in this book. Not everything is cookie cutter pretty in their world just because they are rich kids, and this book shows the underbelly. Told in dual pov, this is a must read for anyone who loves the true angst.
