Charming, delightful characters, a fun romantic romp through regency England. There are some great possibilities here for who will we see next in the series!

The first 3/4 of the book is great, I guessed the plot twist early on but was going to rate this lower if it didn’t happen and it turned out I was half right.

The last 10-15 chapters were kind of confusing as side characters were brought up with more importance. The legal stuff was also confusing and everything was explained in the last 2 chapters sort of.

This is also very virtuous, maybe a handful of kisses and that’s it. Not steamy enough even for someone who’s on the ace spectrum, the romantic tension was great but there wasn’t complete satisfaction. It was a little bit dragged out.

This was a... tedious read for me but then again maybe it just isn't a book for me.
