Stunning world building, but somewhat predictable in plot line. I loved the IDEA of this book, but I was sadly able to see the entire thing by about a third of the way in. The big surprises were not, but the story is still beautiful.

Alix Harlow is becoming one of my favorite authors. This book was so magical and the end had be sobbing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The writing was lovely (even if I had to look up the meaning of temerarious and then read it 3 more times!) and I was able to easily get lost in January and her worlds.

A wonderful, hopeful coming of age story that is inspiring and beautiful. A must read for anyone who is a fan of books, magic, found family, and coming of age.
