I'm not usually all about evangelism books, I generally find them clunky, out of touch, and embarrassingly impractical. They also generally want to turn postmodern people into modernists, and look down their nose anyone who might not be wooed by arguments, theological debate, and boring proofs.

Despite a publish date of 2000 and some references to VHS players and old movies, this book is still relevant in 2014 and one of the best reads I've come across regarding evangelism since it avoids much of the above pitfalls.

Honestly… let’s do this thing! (And God, so you’re thing!) I long to see this generation understand the call to go and tell and invite and love their family members, their friends, and even strangers to a real relationship with Jesus. This book gassed me up with energy, enthusiasm, vision, and instructions for how to see this generation unleashed to see others know and love and follow Jesus. Lots of quality practical instruction paired while simultaneously  inspiring and challenging me.

A very good little book. Showcases realistic but ambitious ways to go about evangelism in America.
