Magari pensi di poter scappare via e cambiare nome o non so cosa. Di ricominciare daccapo. E poi una mattina ti svegli, guardi il soffitto e indovina chi è la persona sdraiata nel letto?”

Utterly outstanding book. If you liked the film, read the book and vice versa, the film was very true to the book as it turns out. God what a great book. Such a terrifying baddie and such likeable other characters. This book is so many things, it's dark, it's funny, it's philosophical, it's thrilling, it's upsetting, it's romantic. Can't recommend it highly enough, a solid 5 stars.

I feel like everyone should read this book. It was so well written and kept my eyes glued to the page nearly the entire way through. I absolutely loved it. Some parts were a little scary for me personally but I liked being on the edge of my seat. There were some funny moments too that I actually laughed out loud to. 4.75 stars. Incredible read. Excited to read more McCarthy
