This book gave me “Good Omens” vibes.  It was irreverent and funny and not boring but so relaxing I felt sleepy.  It was a contradiction in feelings and quite delightfully so.

Loved all the romantic relationships in this book, of course. Vi and Tom? Enemies to lovers. Cal and Mayra? Lovers on opposing sides. Fox and Brandt? Second chance lovers. But I loved the underlying father son relationship of Fox and Death the most!

It colliding of story's in this book blend so well together and even if they’re not close there is still a tread that they all bear to each other. I loved each and every love story in the book but Fox and Brandt stole the show.

Writing style is giving good omens

Omg the life of an immortal and mortal is always so much fun and im LOVING death being an overprotective dad to fox and telling Brandt hes not good enough for his boy. You can see there plot coming from a mile away but i still shed a tear when the truth was revealed
