Mr. Twit, a hairy faced old man. And Mrs. Twit, an old hag with glass eyes. Together they become a nasty and weird couple. For I don't know whether they are smart or stupid. Smart, cause they can be a sly person and a trickster. But then they'd fall into the other's trick without noticing it. I wonder how could they end up together for so long.

4 stars. This was pretty funny. I loved the terrible tricks that Mr. and Mrs. Twit played on each other. Especially the frog in the bed prank. This story while not my favorite from Dahl was still a really good time and The Twits definitely got what they deserved in the end and that was extremely satisfying.
In fifth grade being a quiet girl I natruly thought this would be an awful book. I read it only because it was read in class and didn't complain about the grossness because it was written by one of my favorite authors. Amazingly I loved how Mr. and Mrs. Twit hated each other and acted like idiots. It was crazy but interesting how you could dislike characters and still root for them. I wanted to see all the crazy tortures they did to each other (mostly because they weren't violent). It's been so long since I read it.
The moral of the novel had gone from my mind I had to read another reveiw to catch up my memory. Makes me look like a brate. Well the moral is simple, anyone who's negative is a twit. Dead simple, the only way to write a children's book.
