3.5

This is the third installment of Sean Murphy's White Knight universe ( The Murphyverse? ), and despite having just 3 installments, it already feels like DC is milking a dead cow.
The two leads of the first book were Batman and Joker. Now Joker is dead and Batman is imprisoned. So who do we have left? Harley Quinn?
I'm not a fan of Harley as a perfectly sane hero. she's morally ambiguous at best. I adored the first half of the book, and the bits about Joker and Harley were pretty interesting... But the entire Starlet arc was boring, just an excuse to have Harley back in action. There was nothing interesting about her backstory, and the comparison between her and Joker in the end was very forced, like the writers suddenly remembered they should give the book a half-assed thematic purpose.
The writing towards the end just felt like watching an 8 years old kid play with an Harley Quinn action figure.
The best thing I can say about it is that I didn't suffer, and the artwork was very nice.
