4 stars... what a heavy but sensual story of two people overcoming their pasts. Loved it. Full review to come to my blog soon.

Dare to Touch by Carly Phillips is an absolute winner. Olivia Dare was a complex character who had issues that stemmed from two men in her life leaving her. She was a bit of a contradiction in that she encouraged her siblings to have a relationship with the father who abandoned them, but at the same time had trouble forgiving him herself. This contradiction made her more real to me because I've watched others behave the same way. Dylan Rhodes wanted Olivia from the first moment he met her, and he's finally decided to go after what he wants. He was compassionate enough to understand when Olivia needed space without being a pushover. Dylan understood Olivia's abandonment issues because he was also abandoned at an early age by his parents. The chemistry between the two was hot. This book was toned down sexually from the last Dare book, but it was perfect for the characters. I loved Olivia and Dylan's story and can't wait to read more about the Dare siblings and cousins. This book set up stories for both Avery and Scott, so I'll be excited to see who finds love next. This book gets 5 stars and I will DEFINITELY read it again.

Thanks Netgalley for a free book to read and review.

This book started out fantastic, I havent read much in this series but Olivia and Dylan seemed to have some serious chemistry. The opening scene really did great to set off the excitement for the chapter. It seems it was Olivia's birthday party and Dylan whips her off to a private moment only to kiss her senseless. He's tired of waiting for her to admit the attraction between the two, and he isn't going to wait any longer. Olivia had some serious hangups though, with her past history and her father. I hadn't read the other books in this series but after talking to others they seemed to think this book portrayed similar scenarious from the previous book. It seems that this is a family series, so it would make sense that the other siblings had similar fears. Overall for me it was a great standalone book, and overall entertainment was four stars.

Nice

What a great story about Olivia. I must admit that while it was great to finally get Liv's story, it was not my favorite of the series... For some reason, it felt like some of the story was missing. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

My favorite Dare story yet! A perfect blend of drama, realism, and hot sex scenes rolled in with likable main characters, a good story line, and enough tie-in to the rest of the series to make it flow. Carly never disappoints, and this one is no exception. I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment!

This is the 5th book in the Dare To Love series by Carly Phillips and I've been waiting a long time for Olivia's story. Carly is a wonderful writer, using humor, banter and heat to tell a great story! Olivia is the sister of the previous Dare books and I'm so glad that she got her own story. She's been fighting her feelings for Dylan for a long time. Dylan is sick of waiting and decides to make his move. Olivia isn't sure that she can resist him anymore. He's too sexy and too determined to catch her. But, saying that Olivia has Daddy issues is a gross understatement. Dylan also has family and trust issues when it comes to women, but he wants to let go of his past and make Olivia his future. Can he convince Olivia to move on from her tragic past and move forward with him? Will she throw this amazing man away just because she's scared? I laughed and cried! Carly knows how to write an emotional story and this one had a lot of twists and turns. It was awesome to see the other Dare siblings too! I miss them! I hope Scott is next. :)

"One of us could get hurt," she said.
"Life's a risk," he murmured.
"I've lived mine lately without taking too many of those."
He paused in though. "Let me catch you if you fall, okay?"

"We'll tie you up another time." he grinned.
"I think I'd like that."
