The star issue (for me) in this volume would probably have to be the final issue (15).

It had ninja gorillas, or ninjorillas, if you would, in it.

As far as I'm concerned that's worth 4 stars right there.

There is also a story in this volume brought to us by Eric Powell which is always a treat.

Oh yeah... And dragons and dinosaur wizards (once again Jordans story, or in this case his movie idea) steals the spotlight!

Hell of a lot of fun! I'd probably actually give this one a 4 and a half if I could.

This book finally brings to a close a major arc that has been slowly building since Volume one. In it we lose some characters that I was really wanting to learn more about, which is sadness. However, some new plot threads are woven and have me really intrigued as to what is going to happen next.

Also, we are treated to a tragic love story between two cockroaches, written by none other than the magnificent, Jeff Lemire (Sweet Tooth) himself.

I'd have to say, for me, that this has been the weakest volume of the bunch so far. Still, I am enjoying the overall structure and story of the book as a whole, and am pretty stoked to see what is going to happen next now that the dust has finally settled a little bit.

Cain and Abel crack me up. They always have. The two of them frequent this particular volume so it makes sense that I enjoyed it. Some interesting short stories in this one as well.

Oh yeah...also...

Goblins! Fuck yeah!

This where this story lost me a little. Not in the sense that I didn't understand what was going on, but because I began to suspect how it would end. And with five more issues to go already having guessed the ending sort of takes the "mystery"-part out of the title. Still liked many of the stories-within-stories though.
