This was such a delight to read. I couldn’t put it down. I absolutely loved Zuri and Naveen. I also loved that this book took some turns that at least for me were unexpected. Definitely a feel-good read!

Hello??? I need My Sister's Big Fat Indian Wedding to be a movie ASAP???
This may very well be one of my favorite YA books now. It's sweet, simple, and overall a good time. I wouldn't call this a romance but a peek into Zuri's life for a week as they prepare for and have her sister's wedding, where she ends up with blossoming feelings for Naveen. We need more books like this in the genre, looks into characters lives without it being overtaken completely by romance and a million individual problems all at once.
There's nothing wrong with those kinds of books, but it can become oversaturated in a tiresome way and it's necessary to have books that balance it out there in cycle for people to have a breather but still feel seen and understood with representation that can be found in My Sister's Big Fat Indian Wedding.

Really loved the bond the family had. Zuri was a little frustrating at times but she also really reminded me of myself as a teenager (so no room to talk). It was a cute read
