ich fand das buch so toll, ich hab keine worte dafür. vom moment, als ich es in die hand genommen hab bis zur allerletzten seite, konnte ich es nicht mehr weg legen. ich hab geweint, gelacht, war schockiert und verwirrt und wollte nicht, dass es endet - gleichzeitig wollte ich aber auch unbedingt wissen, wie alles ausgeht? kurz gesagt: es war ganz genau das high fantasy buch, das ich mir seit monaten gewünscht habe 😭

verglichen mit den teilen davor, war es wirklich so fast paced und noch tausendmal spannender!! die welt ist SO TOLL, die vibes sind unfassbar; man wurde beim lesen richtig reingezogen und es war so toll.

jude my queen 😭 i loved her so much! i dont know if i want to be her or if i want to be with her… my girl ist aber vor allem queen of overthinking; manche leute sind einfach nett und mögen sie und sie schiebt psychose, dass alles ein geheimer plan gegen sie ist?? calm down 

dass sie neben allen bedrohungen gefühlt cardan als ihren größten erzfeind sieht, war so lustig für mich 😂 this boy was so scared of her 😭 er hat 3 bücher lang versucht, sich diese baddie zu klären und es einfach nicht geschafft (weil er maximal lost war) und als es am ende endlich geklappt hat, war er so proud (zurecht)

ich muss in dieser review my man madoc ansprechen; he was the worst dad ever but why was he so hot 😭 habe lowkey für ihn gerootet die ganze zeit, he was so evil but i was into it irgendwie ;

war auch bisschen sad über sein ende, all my man wanted was meaningless blootshed and honestly i can understand 💔

das ende war perfekt, habe nix auszusetzen; niemals hätte ich gedacht, dass ich eine ganze reihe über faerie politics, intrigen und machtspiele so wegatmen würde, aber es ist passiert und ich würde es nicht anders wollen, LOVED IT

Lost so much sleep reading this series, again couldnt put it down. Once again, I was so enthralled in this whole story. I loved all the characters, even the ones I hated half the time. I found myself conflicted between loving and disliking characters all at once. I very much enjoyed every moment of this tale and being in this world. Holly Black has made a huge fan of me with this series.

About the graphic warnings

As always, Jude gets in a fair amount of trouble and gets hurt, there's vivid description of her injuries as well as her taking out the stitches. Other characters as well. A head of a huge animal gets chopped off and there's lots of blood. A child is being held in a magical bridle that sinks into their skin, clearly abused by their parents.

This series was an absolute joy to read. I never thought I would love fantasy politics as much as I have through these books. I do wish there was a tad more substance to Jude and Carden's romance, but overall the entire series was interesting and didn't leave me once wanting to put it down.
