The Queen of Nothing is pure chaos and sinful tension and I devoured every second of it. Jude and Cardan? They lie, they betray, they burn each other alive just to feel something and I’m right there giggling like a problem.

There are daggers pressed to throats and hands tangled in hair. It’s whispered promises that sound like threats and threats that sound like love confessions. Jude would ruin the world for him and he’d let her and they’d both laugh about it after.

Enemies to lovers done right is sharp, soft, and so wrong it’s right and this is exactly that. Stolen crowns, stolen kisses, stolen dignity (mine)
and that one scene with Cardan and Jude is just ARGHHH!!!!

Long live the Queen and long live the monster she married.
I’d read it again and I recommend you read it!

Romantic tension between characters is masterfully done and completed in this series. Some of the plot points felt underserved by the fast pacing, but the plot was still very compelling.

When you live in lies, denial, and deceit, how do you know what's real and when to stop?
I did not expect to love these books. I read the first one and was like ok. Then I read Wicked King and had to start Queen of Nothing right after it. The story kept me sucked in not wanting to put it down. The character growth and develoment is so good in these books. Jude has definitely become one of my favorite book characters in that she strong of will and heart.

I thought this was a different way of ending the series. Going into the book, the other two books whilst feeling different were more tied together in their political drama angle of the book. This felt different to as it was less focused on the political aspect, and more on the fantastical areas. This lead to what felt like it went pretty fast read once we got back in the world of Faerie.
Whilst I would have liked more political drama in this book, I think this fantastical view fits much better as anything more political might have felt too much like the second book. I still had a lot of fun with this book and thought it still had solid characters and interactions that drew me into the series to begin with. I could also see how the ending ties into the the spin off series around Oak. I thought it was fun to see. I really liked how everything was wrapped up and it felt like a happy ending but also a realistic one for this world.

I can see why people didn't want to leave this world once they finished the series. It has just been a lot of fun reading and following these characters.

After reading the first two books and rating them both five stars I was nervous this one would not hold up. While it was not my favorite of the trilogy it definitely held up and was an excellent conclusion to all of the story set up in the first two books. I had no lingering questions, and while I would always want more time with these characters I think it ended perfectly.
