The timespan of the book runs backwards which is confusing to digest. The plot twist of who killed Corrinne was a surprise but I still found the overall story lacklustre and the characters a bit thin. The protagonist Nic was messy. I probably liked Laura the most but even she had a dark side. 2.5 stars

I really liked this book. I read it because it had such favorable reviews and the concept of the story being told moving backwards through the days really intrigued me. I loved the way it worked. I kept wanting to flip back and forth to line stuff up in order. It all made sense and was a really interesting way of story-telling.

I liked the twists and turns. I don't think the story itself was revolutionary and I could see a lot of the twists coming, but the ride was still very worth it.
The ending wasn't my favorite thing, but the rest of the story made up for it and I can't say I was completely disappointed. It just felt a little too easy.
