This was a very simple and relaxing read, the book is very straightforward and well organized. It has several information and tips for Self-care and ways to relax and take care of ourselves. For me, this book came at the right time since I was needing to apply more dedication to taking care of myself and my health. The book is a good resource and a helpful companion to having a more balanced and mindful routine and practices to help ourselves improve, relax and take care of ourselves.

Fun, easy read with good self-care tips, often but not always related to magic. Some fun ideas I'll definitely try out.

I will have to buy a copy to keep. It's a great little book and I can't wait to try the recipes that are in it. Some of the crafts are new to me and some I already know. It's a personal helper to help you learn and get more practice.

This book felt more real and tangible than a lot of self-care books. If I see one more “take a week long spa vacation to somewhere tropical” recommendation I might scream and this book stays away from that. Instead it feels accessible and realistic.

I enjoyed this book. It has some good ideas for self-care regardless of your spiritual preferences. It was calming just to read, so it definitely served its purpose.

For someone who has been practicing mindfulness and witchcraft for a while this book contained little I didn't already know in terms of information, however there were some tidbits in there that were new. It is also important to note that while some of things may seem obvious, sometimes it requires us to read the obvious to take note!

On the other hand it is a whistle stop tour for every kind of self-care you can imagine and this will be great for beginners. Whilst the paragraphs introducing you to the various practices are quite short the book then includes a wealth of recipes, affirmations, spells and crafts. It is therefore also a useful book to keep around for reference.

Murphy-Hiscock also includes a bibliography and there are plenty of references to other books for further reading if you find yourself interested in a certain area.

It was also a joy to read, written plainly and in a way that is easily understood. The cover is also very appealing and would look great on a shelf.

I really liked this. It was broken down into 5 chapters with easily digestible information. I think I'll be looking for a used copy of this to keep on my shelf as I need inspiration or want to look again at a suggested self-care practice!

Interesting! Lots of useful and easily applicable tips in everyday life. Some hints are more obvious, but the mysticism makes it seem more innovative. I enjoyed the most the meditation techniques.
