I can’t even think. What is the human body, like 60% water? Well not me. I am now 100% water and it’s all tears. This book is perfection. The very definition of perfection of this book. It is pure, uninhibited perfection. The world is better for this book existing in it. My life is better for this book existing in it.
Maybe someday I’ll write a more comprehensive review about exactly why I love and treasure these words so much, but I would also just like to leave it at this, at the simplicity of my joy. Pooh often struggles to put his thoughts into words, as does Eeyore, and so I don’t mind.
In fact, I think the best thing would be to defer to a quote from a donkey with fluff in his head, because it perfectly captures my actual brain trying to write a review for this book:

“We’ve come to say – to give you – it’s called – written by – but we’ve all – because we’ve heard, I mean we all know – well, you see, it’s – we – you – well, that, to put it as shortly as possible, it is what it is.”

And what it is, is perfection.

This is a book I could always count on when I was having a horrible day whether it be from anxiety or just a bad mental health day Winnie the Pooh and all his friends were there to make it better. Finally finishing it is bittersweet as there are no more pages for me to read again however, I know these are some stories I can read over and over to take me back to a simpler time, stories and characters that I know I will always love

Absolutely gorgeous. Everyone needs to read this and squee at the illustrations.

This book is a collection of stories about Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends; although I had never read these stories; some of the stories were adapted into tv episodes and I was surprised at how different some of them were. I still love the characters of Pooh, Piglet and Tigger but I couldn't believe how they changed Eeyore in the show given how rude he is in books; I found it hard to like him

A true classic in childrens literature. I had read this, like most people, when I was very young and loved it. As an adult, I still love this book, it brought back happy childhood memories of escaping to realms of fantasy. This is one of those books that should be enjoyed by all children - it has inspired me to buy a copy for the youngest member of my family.

I hadn't read this since probably the 3rd grade and I loved it!! Fun, easy read for any age to enjoy.

So delightful. Childhood holds up. =)

Didn't love it as much as I thought I would, but then I wonder if I'm a terrible person for saying that about Winnie The Pooh!
