Pretty bang average to be honest. Certain sex scenes were Incredibly cringe and happened way too often, resulting in a book with a very limited plot :/

The big conflict in the relationship which happens towards the end of book isn’t really even that bad in my opinion. Obviously people deal with things differently, but I know i wouldn’t have reacted the way the heroine did (cutting him off completely until his incessant begging, leading to an actual conversation about what happened).

There were some aspects I liked, such as the comedy element (I did find certain phrases and descriptions funny), family dynamics and the heroine (although some things I found annoying)

Just a straight down the road book for me, very average and must admit, I did struggling finishing it just because I was bored and knew how it would eventually end (reconciliation and HEA).

This book has been hovering ominously in my periphery ever since my interest in sports romances was born so I finally got it over and done with.

I kind of enjoyed that our male lead (whose name I have definitely forgotten already) wasn't your usual hetero romance possessive cunt like so many can be, but that's where my compliments run dry.

This was a boring book and the amount of times they refer to the main characters' genitals as her beaver and his monster cock made me want to die.

DNF @ 36%.

Was a lot more crass than I expected. I might not have had so much of a problem with it if I hadn't picked it up specifically because I thought it would be light. I'm in a funk and need a light lift.

Great start

This is a great start to a series and I can’t wait to read the rest of it. This is now the second book I have read by Helena hunting and I’m not disappointed in either read!
