Super cute. Classic hero story of a brave mouse and his woodland friends. Definitely a very children’s/YOUNG adult book, but that was what I expected. I read it because it was many of my friends’ favorite childhood book, and it was such a fun, heartwarming story!

This was such a formative book for me. I was obsessed with these series as a kid. Such a wonderful, imaginative fantasy series. If I could I'd hand these out to every ten-year-old I meet!

This book is really well written. Each character has their own voice and it's easy to imagine them speaking. The story keeps you holding on as they jump from character to character, and there are good lessons that are learned from this book.

I loved this book. Listened to it and the cast recording was amazing. So cozy but also had some dark parts. Lost some points because it felt a little long and a bit repetitive but I was also happy to stay in the world. A lovely book and I can’t wait to read/listen to the rest of the series.
