I am lost for words at the ending. The twist I could see happening, and I was hoping for sweet revenge. Instead it was bittersweet. The flashbacks helping set everything up piece by piece, weaving together the tragedy that is Michael’s life. In the end, he did get a happy ending. But I still need to know if Alice is okay!

The ending had me screaming. Would NOT recommend to anyone who doesn’t like horror. Messed up and gory, but still a good storyline.

Brother is literally one of the best books I have ever read. Ahlborn's writing style hooks you into the characters, and her use of perspective is phenomenal. Every single twist and turn will have you violently turning pages. Whenever you think you know where things are going in this book, you're thrown back and forth between theories like the inflatable-arm-men that you see outside of car washes. 

No synopsis is going to do this book justice, and neither can a small descriptive blurb. I wish any creator's review truly highlighted how amazing this book is, but at the same time it almost feels like a well guarded secret; as if it is something that everyone has silently agreed upon has to be discovered by each reader on their own. 

They can never make me hate you, Misty Dawn. They literally can't.

Brother took me three hours and forty minutes to get through.
