This book is not for the light hearted. I enjoyed the pace and suspense. Michael was a complex character who you don’t know whether to feel bad for him or hate him.

Well this was a heartbreaking and fantastic read. Unlike any of the horror books I've read thus far. It played out like an incredibly well done psychological horror movie in a good way. Took me almost until it was revealed to work out the twist and the ending just ripped my heart out. Not as graphic as I was expecting but the actual plot is where the horror lies. So so good.

Probably my favorite Ania Ahlborn novel. It’s heartbreaking and bleak, and the ending had me sick. Michael comes from a complex family, more than he even realizes, and each chapter has you praying he’ll make it out. And it’s not just Michael, you feel for several characters as the shit hits the fan. A definite recommend.

I can't think of any words to sum up how I feel about this book. I guess I'll keep it simple and say it's the best thing I've ever read. Nothing can top this, I know that for certain. 
Michael will always be in my heart. Reb will always be around the corner.
