It was pretty good. I will say even tho Alex is amazing, he did have his cringy moments (ahem… singing scene)
But let’s be honest, half the book was so unrealistic to the point where you couldn’t not enjoy it. It had murder, kidnapping, and so. much. smut. That’s it really.

is it a literary masterpiece ? no, far from it. is it super cringey at times ? yes, absolutely. will i finish the series, yup!

in no way, shape or form would i tolerate a man like Alex in real life, HOWEVER, i really cannot get enough of him in book form. really is the perfect sweet, psycho & asshole combo.

also first “spicy” book I’ve read and I-

This had the potential to be good, but it was lacking and overall felt unrealistic.

ava me da vergüenza ajena, alex me da arcadas, el libro en si me produce demasiado cringe. la trama es absurda. que lache de libro.

I kept seeing this book being recommended and wanted to see what all the hype was about. It didn’t disappoint. Sister falls for brothers emotionless best friend. Ava and Alex have past that haunts them and have suffered a lot. While Ava is the sunshine Alex is the storm. I enjoyed both characters even when Alex was insufferable. I can’t wait to read the next one in this series.

I don't think I've ever loved yet hated a male protagonist more than I did in Twisted Love. I felt like there were a lot of plot holes and loose ends that never got answered. It lacked character development and I don't feel fulfilled in knowing how the characters exactly changed. Like we see it, but we don't get to experience it.

That being said, I do think Ana Huang is a talented writer. Her sentenced flowed nicely (for me, at least), but I feel like she could take more time to workshop her characters and her plot in order for the story itself to flow better.
