Words, stories, books as ways we both document and progress. Learn and unlearn. A needed balm and reminder of the power and purpose of art.

This is one to revisit frequently.

Inspiring. If I were to write a story, I'd now want to write something that resembles the bag, rather than the bone. Infused with and containing a lasting energy, rather than thrusting itself into the reader's mind.

On reflection, so many of my favourite stories are not great conflicts, but subtle woven sacks of great characters and their jumbled muddlings through life.
