DNF @ 48%.

The first book was pretty okay but this one is just painfully bland. Didn’t like the pairing at all nor the writing on this one.

Bash & Riley took me for a ride! I LOVED this book, way more then the first one too I might add. Normally any kind of music romance just isn’t my thing. With this one, I was sucked in from the beginning because of these two. Riley gives off this “no fucks given” attitude that I adore! Bash is an overprotective, damaged man who just has soooo much growth because of her. It honestly was amazing to see how they interacted with one another. The chemistry on the page for them was so natural, I never felt like anything was forced or awkward.

The angst/obstacles these two has to go through in order to reach their HEA were super relatable. I genuinely felt their hurt, pain, passion & ugh of course their love for each other! If you’re gonna read a Kat Singleton book, I highly recommend this one!

( Biased review since surprise pregnancy tropes aren't my favorite. )

Couldn't put the first part of the book down. It was interesting to see the events from the previous book unfold through a different perspective, and the spice between Bash and Riley was fun. I'm also glad Holden was a solid guy.

However the second half with the surprise pregnancy fell flat for me. The drama seemed forced so the resolution was anticlimactic. Then the book went on for a few chapters more for baby talk (and that's not for me).

Riley and Seb are absolutely everything! I wish I had half of Riley's confidence in all that I do. Riley is fun, smart, full of confidence and isn't afraid to take what she wants when she wants.

Seb gives off such tough Alpha vibes with a cool demeanor. Riley throws him for all sorts of loops that he doesn't like.

Kat blew me away with this book with the chemistry she built between Rileuly and Sebastian. There were some tears, but storms must be weathered to get to the happily ever after
