Finished while my family was watching a Cold War Chess movie. Despite already having read the book, I found this infinitely more interesting.

Clearly my review comes in a year late. My review specifies the murderer so don’t read further if you want to read this.

This book has to be my favourite Poirot novel. It wasn’t just the twist plot that took me surprise, but the fact that I genuinely loved the character of the doctor made it all the more brilliant.

I ought to definitely come up with some strategy to go through the Poirot novels - one per month? Or just get through them whenever but chronologically?

Poirot: goes around an English manner collecting his silly little clues and solving his silly little murder mystery

Me: talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before
