With bright and cheery artwork, this book is all about celebrating everyone's unique qualities. I appreciate that the story includes people of different abilities and from various cultures. This is standard and typical fare about being yourself. It’s been done before, and will be done again. Over all it’s nice. It has a Jamie Lee Curtis feel, but sometimes the rhymes come out harsh. I believe this to be because of how the illustrator highlighted certain words and phrases. It’s beautiful, but that emphasis on a strong word may not be in the rhyming pattern therefor throwing it off. This story is quite nice, but not destined to become a classic.
