Never entirely lives up to the elevator pitch, but regardless is fun and propulsive. While I can’t say that I was surprised by any of the twists, I did find it a satisfying and enjoyable read.

was written very well and i finished this book very fast, the concept was very interesting and kept me invested in the plot but there were definitely areas that i felt were placed there intentionally for fluidity of the book when it could’ve been done in a better way (a flashback to a previous time a and then back to present she was all of a sudden more angry at her boss?) it felt forced for the narrative but other than that very very good

I really enjoyed this book! I listened to it on audio and actually felt myself want to keep on listening (which doesn’t usually happen) to find out what would happen. There were heaps of twists and turns and lots of points in the plot where I was shocked and didn’t know how to react. I really had no idea what was going one at some points, I had no idea what to think. And then when everything was revealed, it all clicked and made sense. The writing was addictive and I liked the contrast between the past and present. The main character had lots of depth and I enjoyed how she revealed little bits of herself at a time, whilst also not revealing much!

I felt the ending didn’t really feel realistic and it kind of put me off a little. I just didn’t really like what happened at the end and was kinda like what the hell are you doing dude?!?

Overall, I would totally recommend to my fellow thriller/mystery lovers out there!

Hmmmm...I'm torn. This book definitely kept me wanting to read - lots of different things going on. And I thought I had the twist figured out but I didn't, so that was fun. I was a little confused at the end though...

Content: a LOT of language, mild bedroom stuff
