This is definitely my favourite in the series so far - it was just so good! I loved that the plot was personally connected to Myron and his past because it made it easier for me to connect to it. It was also really interesting to learn about Myron’s family more. The plot had a lot of layers to it and it was quite twisty at times. It was fast paced, well written and addictive to read. Coben writes such fun and mysterious thrillers that I genuinely find hard to put down. There were some emotional moments in this book which balanced out the humour, action and drama really well. I felt bad for Myron and his family. Win really shone in this book which I love to see. The way everything was revealed and ended was shocking - I loved it! Mickey’s character introduced was great and I might pick up the series following him even though it’s YA.

Just when I say that I'm tired of series with recurring characters, Coben puts out a great Bolitar book. I think this is the most recent in the series, but if it is not, it is the most recent one I've read. In this book, Coben introduces Mickey, Myron's nephew, who I understand is the main character in his new young adult series. I'll have to check this out. Anyway, this book is about a rock group and a secret that they're keeping. For some reason, I especially enjoyed Win in this book and started wondering if they'll ever do a movie on this series. Surely Win would be one of the more fun characters to cast.

Liked it, quick read. I may have enjoyed it more if I had some more background from the previous books in this series.
