I love this series and it's storyline. I was pleasantly surprised after finding the entire series on sale.
I enjoyed my first read through and can't wait for my second. There were a few plot twists that had me reeling and emotionally I was completely invested all the way through. I read the trilogy in a couple of days with many late nights as I eagerly ate my way through them.

Well, I didn't like it as much as Delirium, mabye because there is no Alex and I don't really like the new guy. I didn't like the story, don't know why. I think it was more exciting when she was still in Portland and in love with Alex.
But I really liked the end and the way Lena develops.
But, well the 3rd book come out in germany in January 2014. I am dying!

‘I wonder if this is how people always get close: they heal each other’s wounds; they repair the broken skin’ - read this in one night! Beautiful however the slowest in the trilogy.
For me, this book was better or just as good as the first in this trilogy. The twists in this novel are so unexpected and I just felt myself holding my breathe till the very last page. I couldn't help myself. I had to know the next thing that would happen. Such great writing. I'm hoping the last book is just as good.
This book was confusing at first because of the now and then chapters but it was action packed and I couldn't put it down. However, I really hate Lena in this book. I thought she would be marrying Alex or die trying. Starting the 3rd one now and I really hope Lena steps her game up.

This book was decent. I liked the first one a bit better, but this one had its moments. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the now/then story structure of it. I understand why it was done that way, but I found it kind of ripped me out of an intense scene a number of times. Each part (now/then) had its own story story beats and moments of intensity which definitely helped the pace the book well. There never felt to be a moment of true downtime once it got started. It had a little bit of a slower start, like the first book, but the ball kept rolling on this one once it started which was nice.
Booooring. The best part was the cliffhanger last page setting up book 3. Still mildly interesting and a quick easy read that keeps you turning the pages, so I'll give it 3 out of 5... But it's really not a very good book. If this was a standalone book without the support of book 1 and promise of a good book 3 that it set up, I'd probably give it 2 stars.

The series declined in the second book. This was a slow book that was confusing for me to read. The first book was diffidently better, but this book seemed like it was just written to put more information out. It wasn't really entertaining and I felt like that main character fell in love too quickly with someone else.
