very well written, kept me on edge and i was actually sure i cracked the case but turns out i did not which is always fun i love a plot twist but i have to kinda give this one to myself bc i was very very close!! but yeth i loved this one

Um so. It was really exciting and fast to read up until like the last two chapters?? Didn't like the resolution so thats that. But it was very attention grabbing (keeps you on ur toes idfk) for the rest of it so swag. Poirot was hilarious and lovely as usual. Going to go watch the 1982 movie brb.

Not the best of Agatha. There are other books from Hercule Poirot set that is better. I read this book on a sunny days on the beach in Croatia and I really enjoyed as I read the story happened by the sea and I myself was at the sea as well.
After this book I’ve set a goal that I will finish all 45 books for Poirot series as I don’t know what keeps me so long to ignore them all and read only some famous ones from the series.

¡Séptimo libro que me leo sobre Hércule Poirot! ✨ La verdad es que he disfrutado un montón de esta lectura, la trama me ha atrapado en seguida y he sido una residente más de aquella islita remota donde se desarrollan los hechos. Lo malo es que me he metido tanto en la historia que ahora estoy triste porque no es verano y no estoy disfrutando de la playita, sino que estoy agobiada con exámenes y trabajos :(.
Me parece que es un caso excepcional, la resolución del crimen ha sido una completa sorpresa, me he quedado con la boca abierta porque realmente no se me había cruzado por la cabeza esa solución. Cada libro que leo, flipo más con Agatha Christie y con el entrañable Poirot. No lo pongo en favoritos porque hay un trasfondo un tanto misógino que no me ha gustado nada, but, still, la novela merece mucho la pena. Supongo que tendremos que recurrir al viejo argumento de que eran los tiempos en los que la autora vivió, aunque no sea una muy buena justificación...
