A pretty solid Poirot with a nice solution. A nice limited cast that makes it easy to follow without making it too obvious what the solution is (although I did actually remember from having watched the TV version). The only thing I disliked was how the clothing designer decides at the end that despite having worked all her life to build herself a successful business what she really wants is to get married and be a housewife. It seemed to come out of nowhere and serves no purpose in the story.
Its an wonderful crime and mystery novel!!
At the end the multiple expiation Poirot gave on how the crime has occurred is simply genies and I was simple awestricken.
