These are just getting better as the series goes on! I can predict every twist, but it's for kids so that's hardly shocking. I thought the twists in this book were especially clever. Excellent for getting a little mind thinking. I was also pleased to see that Kamikaze - Hiccup's female Viking friend - wasn't a one-off addition to the cast.

Only thing I'll note is that it's a little weird to hear Vikings calling America "America" since it didn't have that name yet, but Vikings also didn't have dragons and I get why Cowell didn't want to get into the fine details of the name issue in her silly little book for kids that's anything but historically accurate.

Fantastic, Norbert is a great villain, it’s super cool to see Hiccup’s confidence growing over the course of these books, and

the twist at the end

is actually done really well. The best so far.
