This volume was so intense! It’s one of my favorite parts of the anime so seeing it in its original form is exciting. Kidnapping Bakugou? Best! Love that idea. Dabi staring down Shouto as he steals away his classmate? Yes please. The tension is not just in the plot but in the art as well. Horikoshi does a great job of giving each character expressions so unique but perfect for the situation. And when Deku and crew get into disguise, it’s so funny! Everything about this story makes me smile, even Horikoshi’s author notes.
