What a fun read! I definitely agree with the review that said this was a mix between Bridgerton and the Addams family. Everything about this was enjoyable, my only negative about the book was the writing style. There was so much dialogue happening and sometimes I didn't know that the location or what they were doing had changed.

This was a truly fun read. I enjoyed the concept and I really loved the characters. I never even usually pick books up from the "romance" section of the bookstore, but my love of the Frankenstein universe convinced me to buy it, and I must say... I am absolutely happy that I read it. It was delightful and tastefully done.

It was okay. Funny and a little sexy but like the whole re-animation, back from the dead logistic were creepy. I liked all the side characters better than the main couple.

I was really vibing with this one towards the beginning. It felt like just a fun, kinda silly romance but then it got a little convoluted adding more love interests that didn't really feel like they even had a true chance. By the last quarter I just wanted to get done and move on. Also Angelika and Will were both kinda ✨toxic✨ in the first half especially.

This was delightful spoopy. Romantic Frankenstein FanFiction. I also particularly liked Sally’s letter to Mary at the end. This was slow at times and it wasn’t my favorite book, but for what it was, it was a fun historical RomCom.
