This book sensitively and beautifully tells the story of a man with dementia, through the perspectives of this man, his son, and his grandson. It heartbreakingly and sweetly shows very real human emotion and experience. I felt like these were real people, because Frederick Backman has such a thorough understanding of dementia and its effects on people going through it and the people around them. It was an incredible experience to listen to this novella.

such a short and sweet book.
I'm crying 😭
I hugged it as soon as I was done.
