This book was ok. It wasn’t anything earth shattering, the mystery wasn’t that complex, and there were so many unnecessary subplots that my head was spinning a bit but it was fine.
I didn’t hate it and it didn’t offend me in any way but it was a little bit boring. I’ll probably give the second book in the series a shot and I may read another one of his books but unless they get better I’ll be out after that. There are just too many great books to continue reading mediocre ones.
This author is Rachael Ray’s very favorite so I’ll try at least one more of his books.
