This is the first book that I have read by Alison. I will be reading more after this one. This is a short novelle but it is an instant love story and so very well written. This book is about Cadence who is living life after surviving breast cancer. She just got out of a 12 year relationship and she just wants her life back, she justs want to feel normal and herself again.
She is dragged out to a club by her best friend where she meets Luken. Instant love at first sight but there is just one small problem. Yep there is an age difference but really what is age but just a number. I absolutely love that there is an age difference between these two. It makes this story even better.
This whole book is told through Cadence. It really makes you see her side and feel what she is feeling. I love being able to read books like that. You have to grab this book to see if love can overcome the age difference. It was enjoyable from beginning to end. I only wish it would have been a full length novel but none the less it was a very well written enjoyable love story.
