🌶️🌶️

Feels Like Home is a lovely friends to lovers romance. There are three other novels preceding this one, but I would say that you don’t have to read them to love this story.

The story follows our FMC, Katie, as she is struggling to get to the bottom of debilitating physical pain. Her journey is one that myself, and many other women, share—gaslighting from medical professionals, being told it’s “just anxiety” or “all in your head,” and overall ignored. This part of the plot hit close to home, and I’m really glad it was brought to light in this novel.

Our MMC, Dallas, is a drummer whose long-time band just broke up. He is trying to find his purpose and passion post-band life.

My favorite part about this book is that is was fairly realistic. Both main characters have to navigate these journeys as they begin their relationship, and the way their personalities work well together but also butt heads is reminiscent of real life.

It didn’t have the ultimate “wow” factor to get me to 5 stars, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it! I loved these characters and devoured this book.

I would recommend Feels Like Home to readers who love a feel-good romance with a poignant life lesson behind it.

Thank you, Melissa Grace, for the ARC! I can’t wait to read more of your work.
