First of all, I understand that most people don't actually "read" a coffee table book. However, when I got this for Christmas, it looked really cool, so I....well, did. And, it was a lot of fun. It was cool to spend the time getting to know a little more about all of these artists that I only knew peripherally. I even kind of "liked" some artists that I never really gave a chance to before. (I'm looking at you Pearl Jam and Nirvana...)

So, if you're looking for a nostalgic little romp through the decade that rocked, I can think of no book better suited to you needs than this one. (And, I happen to know a guy with a copy...)
