How to look rich? Wear expensive workout clothes like Lululemons and always carry Starbucks. Not to mention, speak English fluently and throw your cultures and anyone closest to it and to you, under the bus. OR JUST BE A TINA

Couldn’t make it past the first 10%, it was so dull and meandering. I love you, Chrissy Teigen, but not for your taste in books.

For South Asian representation, I much preferred “Erotic Stories For Punjabi Widows.”

No major conflict/tension. Writing style was to pull you in different directions with different characters. I wasn’t invested

An enjoyable beach read type book. I loved the descriptions of Delhi and the different characters. I thought the author did well to show a lot of different aspects of modern India and slightly poke fun at the “poverty porn” type books/films that you often get.

The POV hops from person to person practically within a sentence.  I felt like I was supposed to already know the characters.

DNF

100 pages in and I’m bored.
