How could anyone do anything normal after learning they were part of some spoon-collecting witch club, let alone sleep?
‎‧₊˚✧Plot✧˚₊‧
The story of opens with a set of three interesting characters, The Crone, The Watcher & The Mother. They arrive at an office called VenCo. Very interesting, when the syllables of this word are interchanged, the spell Coven. And then we are thrusted into the very ordinary life of Lucky St. James, working to keep her grandma Stella safe & with her. The odd pair are about to be evicted from their tiny Toronto apartment, when Lucky comes across a silver spoon, with the words SALEM on it.
Miraculously, she is brought to the attention of witches, who seek her out, trying to form a coven, when seven witches will come together. Lucky is the sixth, who is the seventh? But before that, they need to find the seventh spoon.
But standing in their way is Jay Christos (oh so bad boy & hot as hell), an ancient witch-hunter, one of a kind.
“Seriously?” he cried. “Oh, fuck me.”
“Yes.” The Mother smiled. There were teeth in that smile. “Seriously . . . fuck you.”
‧₊˚✧Characters✧˚₊‧
Lucky: Not so lucky with her job, when she dreams of being a writer. But with a grandma who has memory lapses, & sets off fire alarm with her smoking, she can hardly do much. But when she is approached by the witches of VenCo, she grabs a opportunity which seems to good to be true. She is fire herself, honest with her words & ways. She loves her Grammy dearly, feels guilty of leaving her alone.
Stella: Grandma to Lucky, she is cranky & weird, but loving in her own tender way. She loves Lucky & shows them in her vulnerable, always pissed-off energy.
The Oracle: Consisting of The Crone, The Tender & Th Mother, these trio brings forth a powerful coven of witches in Meena, Wendy, Leticia, Freya & Morticia. Each of the witches has their own backstory, written through suffering, self-discovery & liberation.
Shout out to all the witches in the making!
