Long winded, brainfucky, sexy. A perfect stephenson.

I can't remember if I liked or disliked it. I'm pretty sure I was just indifferent but felt like I had to finish it.

Stephenson at his sloggiest. This trilogy is full of interesting ideas and storytelling but it's also just so full of diversions and long-winded chapters of so little.

Liked it and good setup for the next books(s). Definitely not for short book readers!

Not as good as the first, but still quite entertaining.

As with the first installment, this was a bit tedious in the setup, mostly because the setup was about 3-400 pages long. But, again like the first one, once it really got going, it was great. Not for everyone, and nothing compared to Cryptonomicon, but pretty darn fun.

I love this series of books. It really gives a gret backdrop to that part of history (& I love reading historical novels). This should be must-read material for people who want to get a better grip on history :)
